"Behind the Painter : Claude Monet" is a gossip magazine created for the purpose of the minor The Narrative that I followed in September of 2020 where we were asked to create and visualise a story based on a painting that was featured in the Invisible Collection at Marres (Art Gallery in Maastricht).
Monet had a complicated love/family history so I decided to tell this story in a comedic way through a gossip magazine that is based on real events but enhanced by a fictional story.
The magazine is a combination of victorian era graphic design but with topics that you would find in a 2020 gossip magazine.
